ErgoPouch Cocoon Swaddle Bags are designed to be both easy to use and difficult to escape from. They are made from natural fibres GOTS certified organic cotton and bamboo with a touch of elastane. This means it's firm enough to restrict startle reflex whilst still allowing stretch and movement for healthy growth. The stretch also allows for full chest expansion when breathing, added comfort, and for a baby to move its hands into a self-settling position inside the swaddle.

Materials:

The soft, breathable organic cotton and bamboo is certified non-toxic, dyed with water based dyes, and gentle on newborn skin, and skin prone to eczema breakouts. A zip enclosure also protects your child's delicate skin, and the handy arm poppers transition the Cocoon from an arms-in swaddle to an arms-out 3.5 TOG newborn sleeping bag when baby is showing signs of rolling. The bell shaped design is approved by the International Hip Dysplasia Institute as being hip-healthy, and promotes proper joint development in the hips and shoulders joints. Finally, the two-way zipper makes for quick and easy nappy changes during sleep with minimal disruptions.

This zip-up swaddle is 3.5 TOG rated for warmth to keep a baby snug and securely swaddled without the need for complicated wrapping from day one. Being TOG-rated ensures the 3.5 TOG is insulated enough to use in room temperatures between 14-19°C (57-66°F) with no blankets required in the bassinet or cot, making this a safe sleep option for a newborn or baby. The chest area is 1.0 TOG rated to prevent overheating and allow for full chest expansion when breathing. Sizing:

Please use your child's weight to find the most appropriate and safe size for them. To comply with safety requirements, the Cocoon Swaddle Bags have a firm fit around the neck, shoulder and chest area to prevent your little one from slipping inside. You should be able to put 2 fingers inside the neck opening for the correct fit. Please do not size up to the next size until your child meets the weight requirement, for safety reasons.
